Refund Policy

We want SAT Climb to be a confident purchase. The short version: all paid plans are cancelable anytime but not refunded for the current billing period, the free tier lets you try the product without payment, and we’ll always do the right thing if something is broken on our end. Details below.
1. Pricing tiers
For reference, here are the current offerings:
- Free tier — no payment. Limited to 5 practice problems per day, with the adaptive daily plan and full Grid view. No refund applicable.
- Weekly — $25.00 USD per week, auto-renews every 7 days until canceled.
- Monthly — $60.00 USD per month, auto-renews each month until canceled.
- 3-month — $120.00 USD per 90-day period, auto-renews every 90 days until canceled.
2. Paid subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, 3-month)
Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges and your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
We will refund a subscription charge if:
- you cancel within 48 hours of the first charge on a new subscription and have made fewer than 10 practice responses (i.e., you tried it and decided immediately it’s not for you);
- the Service was substantially unavailable for the majority of the billing period due to our outage;
- a charge was placed in error or after a successful cancellation.
3. The free tier as a trial
The free tier is our trial: try the adaptive daily plan and the Grid view with up to 5 problems per day, indefinitely, without entering a payment method. You can upgrade to any paid plan at any time from your account settings.
4. Promotional trials
If we run a time-limited promotional trial on a paid plan, the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period using your payment method on file. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Once converted, the standard subscription refund rules above apply.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer — we can usually resolve issues much faster than a chargeback process. Filing a chargeback for a charge that turns out to be valid may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@satclimb.com with REFUND in the subject line, and include:
- the email address on the account;
- the date and amount of the charge;
- which refund category from this policy you’re requesting; and
- a brief reason (helpful but not required for the guarantee window).
We’ll respond within 2 business days with the decision and next steps.
7. Processing times
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method via Stripe. Once we initiate the refund, expect it to land within 5 to 10 business days depending on your card issuer or bank. Sales tax included in the original charge is refunded in proportion to the refunded amount.
8. Exceptions
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
- accounts terminated for violation of the Acceptable Use provisions of our Terms of Service;
- partial-period refunds beyond the first-period window described in Section 2;
- requests made more than 180 days after the original charge.
If applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you broader refund rights than this policy, those statutory rights are not affected.
